Elections – Bonds
The District does not currently have a pending bond election.
Elections – Directors
The next Directors Election for the District will be held on May 2, 2026. The location(s) of the Directors Election will be posted upon determination.
To be qualified to serve as a director, a person shall be: (i) at least 18 years old; (ii) a resident citizen of the State of Texas; and (iii) either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District.
Director candidacy filing requirements and deadlines are as follows:
- First day to file for a place on the Directors Election ballot is Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
- Last day to file for a place on the Directors Election ballot is Friday, February 13, 2026.
- To run for election to the District’s Board of Directors, a person must file an Application for Place on the General Election Ballot for CSOs.
- The application may be filed with the Secretary of the District’s Board of Directors or his or her designated agent by mail, email, or in person.
- An Appointment Of A Campaign Treasurer By A Candidate prescribed by the Texas Ethics Commission must also be submitted or will be requested upon receipt of the Application.
- To run for election to the District’s Board of Directors as a write-in candidate, a person must file a Declaration of Write-in Candidacy for CSOs.
- The Declaration must be filed with the Secretary of the District’s Board of Directors or his or her designated agent by mail, email or in person.
- The deadline to file the Declaration is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
- Additional documents may be requested in connection with your application upon receipt.
